Description - The collection addresses the issues of pedagogical theory and practice globally, in the retrospective and contemporary contexts. It contains original research articles that present theoretical assumptions and empirical findings. The articles cover a wide range of scientific disciplines including the history of education, general pedagogy, early childhood education, family pedagogy, didactics, general education theories, comparative pedagogy. Particular attention is paid to the history of educational thought, educational systems and institutions in different countries, educational reforms and innovations, experimental research in education, problems concerning development of a social personality type within the global society, fundamentals of teacher training, formation of professional values, innovative technology and socio-humanistic vectors in teacher training. The main focus is on didactic aspects of preparing teachers to work with children and youth in different social institutions. The articles are published in several languages (Ukrainian, English, Polish, and Russian).
