Description - Journal of Epidemiology and Public Health (JEPH) is an electronic, open-access, double blind and peer-reviewed international journal, in the areas of epidemiology and public health. JEPH commenced its publication on June 2, 2015, and is published three times yearly. JEPH aims to improve scientific and professional knowledge of epidemiology and to advance public health research, policy, practice, and education worldwide. JEPH covers all aspects of epidemiology and public health. The journal mainly publishes original research articles, but also welcomes reviews covering applied, methodological and theoretical issues with emphasis on studies using multidisciplinary or integrative approaches. It encourages communication among those engaged in the research, teaching, and application of epidemiology of both communicable and non-communicable disease. Epidemiological and public health issues pertinent to populations in the developing world are currently under-documented and under-reported in the existing international peer-reviewed journals. Therefore, we give special consideration to papers submitted from developing countries. All of the papers published are freely available as downloadablepdf files. JEPH is currently abstracted and indexed in Crossref (with DOI for each article), CABI’s Global Health, BASE, Google Scholar, OAIster (OCLC/ WorldCat), and Indonesian Publication Index (IPI). We are making efforts to get it indexed in even broader international databases.
